taken from the arena of 29/01/2011

The onslaught of hikers on Sunday creates problems.

"The season is still long, even if the weather is nice recall the spring, Lessinia wake yet," recalls Beppino Massella, president of Lessinia Turistsport, the joint venture in which public and private management from the Community montana Lessinia Translessinia of cross-country skiing from hut to Passo San Giorgio fittanze.
The track has been reduced from 50 km to 35 beats before Christmas, due to the rains and high temperatures of the past weeks, but still remains a remarkable journey.

"In fact, because of lack of snow you can not pass from fittanze and the track does not reach there in Malga Lessinia 'states Massella," but remains unchanged and excellent practicability of the route running from San Hut Giorgio Bocca and Selva. You can reach the junction for up to Castelberto Castelberto and of course, very good on snow and perfectly fit for use. "

The novelty of this weekend is the intensification of surveillance and controls on paths of police and agents of the State Forestry Corps. "In the past few Sundays we have been overwhelmed by the number of people took to the slopes: those who walk, those walking the dog, who use snowmobiles, "Massella complaint. "I flaked the record for the most serious cases of infringement and you do not loose control even for the next Sunday.

There are 20 miles of paved paths reserved for walkers not to encroach on the slopes for Cross-country skiers, who pay this service and are entitled to find the tracks in order and without danger, "insists the president of Lessinia Turistsport.

Timely signage stands and points at every intersection, and remembers him along the path, the path for skiers and one for walkers and snowshoes, to avoid dangerous trespassing. Dogs in particular should be kept on a leash because it provides the norm within the regional nature reserve and this may be a hindrance and danger to others.

then use of snowmobiles in the park is restricted to law enforcement, volunteer emergency workers, those responsible for the maintenance of runways and owners of huts or shelters.

Do You Get Alcohol With Half Board Holidays?

Au \u200b\u200bRebour

return on this series, a year ago, on a beautiful sunny day, which saved me from a moment of very dark humor.

I think it is a form of mania that it does not detach myself from my camera ... and shoot, unworthily, even through the thick double-glazed windows filter the coach with whom I'm moving.
This is a story back to those to which I often indulge.

" photos so you do not take from the bus!" preliminary vain a voice coming from the rear seats of the bus when I'm on board.

Who says?

I think that if someone says that something is not done, or are there reasons not to do it, they are already perceived as motivation to do it. Not always, of course, but in photography for me is like that.

"Do not you?"
"Why?"

If the answer does not convince me, in a fragment of the second impulse of instinct and take a decision in a flash shot. There are
worried about too many photographers of the rules, some admit to serve as the foundation, I myself am committed to build and I still commits us, and I admit that if certain concepts were found to be defined "rule" is because with 'experience accumulated over the years by many people who do not dare say naive, we come to find a match that could be called a glimmer of objectivity. But in art I think you should go ahead should be to force the pioneers, mavericks at least, one can not 'constant concern to certain rules.
Personally I distrust those who always refers to these strange anxiety, I personally am wary of words like "humility" more often useful to those who shall issue instead of the recipient under the various forms of criticism.
must also be this that leads me to see photography as a form of paint applied with a technical means other than the brush, and preference in the formation of my visual background, the vast heritage of fine art, visual and general sense, rather which bring me to the "picture" that often contains some practice in standardized risk of being ... an exercise in technical and technological equipment (especially now in an age of "barbarism digital"). Too many times I watch on web forums, and more, a practice of photography, which often verges on pure technicality or the implementation of homework.

"It's an illusion that the pictures do the car .... you do with the eyes, heart, head."
Henri Cartier-Bresson

head. .... seems silly at times, yet I often think about how many images are born without a camera, how I spent whole years without making a shot yet accumulate visions. Basically it is the love for nature, for the vision of life and the world that it gives me that pushes me to photograph, so the bulk of my shots are taken during hiking, or more accessibly, in the hills around town where I live.
Years ago I got tired of photographing, I had bought a compact camera for something more comfortable and lightweight to be used along the mountain paths, on the first things seemed to work, took many pictures, multiple pictures, with less effort than with the camera then again Semi-automatic borrowed from my father. I say at first, because within a year I stopped taking pictures, I realized it was not "merely the result" however, then still very casual, I was interested, was the act of vision and its re-creation that interested me, I was interested in bringing out what I had in mind. But in the meantime release clicks .. and this almost never happened, although many shots were, together with many horrible, but good.
Five years passed without a camera when turned below, in the meantime I saw I saw, and saw. We created images in my mind, I often wondered which photo they would come, first striking a view or an interesting detail. I was like a sponge, I continued to absorb and accumulate ...
Today I can say that many pictures taken and apparently born of the intuition alone, which always has a key role in detecting the vision in his "moment" are actually born as embryos and slowly matured in my own head when not photographing.
So much so that today often go out without a camera and try some ideas .... .. if the light at sunset is unforgettable is the risk of biting your hands, but the visual heritage that is acquired gains a lot. I think it's worth it, to become good observers, however, and before that bad photographers. Moreover I do not think there is a possibility other than, if not the first condition is fulfilled.

Another phase in which there is evidence of how the "head" has a large stake in photographic production is the stage of "post production", thanks to a device Today marks which often consists in resuming the processing of shots went almost into oblivion, after months, even a year, in the following case.

escape the memory fresh, the feeling of the moment, though beautiful, unique and often constitutes a first format in which the photographer has to face. Often the idea from seeing beyond the moment and, if not impossible to produce beautiful images in the first selection, to produce images often prevents even more interesting that perhaps the time for "instinct ignorant" you are caught but are known not to take in their full value in the hours immediately following the shooting.

The vision can 'be as the wings, as well as bars or the walls of a room.

here a year ago I gave the original colors blue, blue, this picture because I create the sensation of the cold and beautiful winter day. Not occurred to me to virarla in black and white.
I do today, and I find that the image taken on a different drama and short stories better than the contrast between the frozen and hostile nature hikers intent to overcome the adverse way.

This shot unwrapped it .. ghost too, too much flare, the judged inadequate basing only on technical features. At the time I wanted to keep the shades open, the realization that today, more varied, even giving value to that explosion of iridescent sun made possible by optics not so much "good" in light of those situations.
But I mean .. at the end .. who cares? or not?

give up that bell'azzurro that day, a year ago seemed unthinkable.
Today, I close my eyes and think of the cold day of bright sunshine. Eyes half closed, the world now seems to appear too strongly, up to blind.

Giving back to the delicate blue that characterized this "gradient" a year ago, seemed unthinkable. Today I do not remember so well, well yes, but not as good as a year ago, I think the drama of the shadow line, the evocation of anxiety that involves the passage into the unknown. Condensing in an 'image, the subject of Shadow Line by Joseph Conrad.

remember now the cold diamond ..... in fact, the sun warmed the heart of that day, but the cold, there was, he could not or did not want to make.
It 's weird also hated the cold and beautiful in its own way.

Chiudo gli occhi, sento replace the cold, biting air, the glare of snow even in the shadow of the mountain, and the shining gem in the valley.

close my eyes ..... and see.

Clear Bump Inside My Mouth

Geotagging, inserire coordinate nelle foto.

Where this picture was taken?

We all know that the files of the images produced by fotocameredigitali contain apart from the image data itself, but lots of information, the model of camera used, date and time shooting, the aperture setting, exposure time, if he was using the flash or not, ISO data etc etc. ..

Fortunately there are software created for this purpose. If there are several outstanding as GeoSetter (Windows), GPSPhotoLinker (Mac OS X) or JetPhoto and GPicSync (Windows and Linux) and even Microsoft has a free software Pro Photo Tool.

If you are short on time or do not want to become familiar with new programs but want to get right to the result then GPicSync is the most suitable.

You set the folder where your photos, you select our recorded track and click on sync.

The rest is done at the end of the program generates a log of activity, especially an xml file that allows us to display photos directly in Google Earth.

Note that in this If only the photos reside on our PCs and not on a network via Google Earth.
If you want to make sure that everyone can see them you must arrange for their loading on the site Panoramio.com

If you are looking for a software a bit 'more professional, with more options and the possibility to see inside the geotagged photos on the map, then you absolutely have to orient yourself to GeoSetter, or JetPhoto Pro Photo Tool.

Below you can see some screenshots of the programs involved.

Female Hernia Surgery And Bloating After Surgery

A caccia di tracce

Yeah I must admit, the title misleading, but this time track file, GPX waypoint and so on and so forth have nothing to do nothing, but still traces of it, or animal tracks!

Walking, in addition to being a healthy physical activity, and especially the possibility of living in nature, understand its beauty and enjoy them with the intention of enjoy all that it offers us, so once we leave aside because the gps now follow other "tracks".

Tuttavia, c’è anche chi rimane, they are carnivores, ungulates, rodents and other birds.
During their ongoing activities in search of food these animals leave tracks, so after a good snowfall, there is nothing better than to get on the snowshoes and climb on the white expanse, looking for signs left by these animals and dedicated to tracking snow.

activity "seeker tracks", however, especially in the beginning can be quite depressing.
Often the prints are blurred, the track seems to stop or get lost, and not around you can see signs of life.

You have to have patience and walk calmly and quietly, always casting a glance beyond the path that you take. It will not take long to find the signs of the wanderings of some mammal.

Although at first glance may seem very similar, these signs have a precise signature.
There are animals that support the entire sole of the foot (Bear and Tasso) and others only have their finger pads (fox, lynx, wolf). Finally, others specialized to support only the third and fourth finger (chamois, ibex, Wild boar).

Ungulates, for example, leaving the characteristic trace of the foot, "cracked", with two hooves well separated.
Very easy to distinguish the wild boar, with the obvious middle fingers at the side of the impression, that missing from the deer and roe deer.
Among these, the first of delivering a more compact, with closely spaced sockets, while the latter has separate fingers and thin, like the chamois.
Simple instead, recognize the passage of the hare in its progress by leaps leaves on the ground in the unmistakable shape Y, where i vertici superiori della lettera sono il segno lasciato dalle zampe posteriori, parallele e ben distanziate tra loro, mentre la stanghetta inferiore è la traccia lasciata dagli arti anteriori, posizionati uno dietro l’altro.

Lo scoiattolo è ancora più elusive, most often when an individual expert comes out of his hole in the tree, several feet along the branches or jump on the nearby trees before coming down so as not to reveal the location of your shelter.

But do not think the footprints in the snow are the only signs of the passage of these animals.
The signs are everywhere, but it takes a trained eye to discover them. So then you can see the bark on some of the streaks produced by the deer, which they rub on trees and mark it the land. To say nothing of those tufts of hair that are sometimes engaged in the wire of the barbed wire left by the passage of some fox.
Then of course there are droppings that are a veritable mine of information. Which not only reveal what animal it is, says even if the transit is recent and what she ate.

Here is a brief summary of the footprints that we might encounter.

SQUIRREL
Sciurus vulgaris

is present in hilly and mountainous areas and often in plain, in the best-preserved forests.
Dinverno MILKMAIDS greatly reduces, but almost every day down dallalbero where he took refuge for supplies.
ORME very long legs and nails. A ground squirrel moves in fits and starts, and fingerprint of the characteristic form of trapezes
about 12 cm wide. Moving to jump the front legs are placed side by side with the toes spread apart, the rear, also Finger extended, touching the ground just in front of the front, sometimes a little bit outside. Measures: 3cm x 2cm front, back 4cm x 2.5cm.

HARE
Lepus europaeus

common throughout Italy, passed in Winter scooter tire hiding under the ground from which to eat out often.

ORME The legs are hairy and leave unimpronta very confused. Much more characteristic is the track, produced by leaps and with the typical "Y" shape, with front legs that rest one after the other and always in front of rear lean to the front in parallel.

FOX
Vulpes vulpes

carnivores is one of the most common and widespread in Italy.

Spesso pone la zampa posteriore nell'impronta lasciata from the front leg and then producing a track that seems to be the sequence of a single footprint.

BOBCAT
Felis sylvestris

still active, even in the coldest months and with a predilection for the night, this is certainly in the Alps and the eastern foothills, nellAppennino Center-South, Sicily and, with the subspecies libyca even in Sardinia.

Active all year, leave traces on the ground. In addition to the footprints never miss the signs of "rooting" with large tracts of land cleared for the search of tubers, roots and fungi.

ORME unmistakable among ungulates: lateral spurs are marked, especially in larger animals and the elderly. Length 6-9 cm.

RATE
Melesse meles

It 's the only representative of the family of mustelids to have an air squat: massive body, strong legs and short tail.
The head is white with two black lines evident, starting slightly above the eyes and ears and nose incorporating that make this animal unique. In Italy it is widespread throughout the peninsula but not in Sicily and Sardinia.

ORME footprint is crushed to 5-7 cm x 4 cm. Show claws and pads of the fingers are highly visible and aligned parallel to each other.

ORME The legs of the marten are covered with thick fur, which makes difficult the recognition of the fingertips. Impressions can recall those of the fox but in mustelids are more rounded and asymmetrical, with a trace of the internal finger, thumb, barely hinted at. In addition, the track of these animals is always erratic, with frequent changes of pace and often overlapping footprints. Length 3-4 cm.

CAPRIOLO
Capreolus capreolus

Lunghezza 4-5 cm.

SUEDE
Rupicapra Rupicapra

Present the bow across the Alps, has a preference for high-altitude environments, but you can meet dinverno much lower, even in the hilly areas of the valley.
ORME has hooves that leave an elongated and straight rectangular of about 3.5 to 5 cm x 6 cm and elastic as to seem separate. Keeping Up the footprint left by the hind legs almost completely overlaps with that of the front legs.

DEER
Cervus elaphus

prefers forests of beech, but can also appear at lower altitudes, especially in winter

ORME Classical imprint of ungulate hooves with large and robust. The side toes are visible only when lanimale jumps. 6-12 cm length.

Capercaillie
Tetrao urogallus

is the largest of the grouse : measure length from sixty-five seventy centimeters in a meter wingspan and a half, with wings of forty inches, thirty-tail, and weighs four to five kilograms. In Italy the species is extinct on the central and western Alps and is still present in the mountainous areas of Veneto, Trentino-Alto Adige and Friuli.
The grouse is not only a very rare animal that loves the thick woods and tranquility and is therefore very difficult to catch him in the open, except in rare and fortunate cases.
ORME : the footprint of the male is usually 8-12 cm long and wide 7-11. Fingerprints are very open to external and forming an angle of about 180 °. Even the finger back is imprinted with clarity and is 2.5 to 3 lugo cm while the middle finger is between 6 and 7 cm in length. The footprint of the female is similar in appearance but about 1 / 3 smaller.

Best Acne Spot Remover

Gazza: Step Vezzena - Top Vezzena (Pizzo di Levico)

cispole again and, of course, more snow. This time we Vezzena plateau, which is headed by the famous ski area in Levico Terme (TN), located between the Vallagarina Valsugana el'Altopiano of Seven Common.
We come then to Vezzena Pass (1.417m), where you can enjoy the beauty of the plateau, was once the scene of battles (you can still see and visit the Austrian forts) , now known as the ski area and ... for the namesake cheese. Our goal is Vezzena Cima, also called Pizzo di Levico (1.908m).
leave your car in a clearing behind the state and we head north to our destination. The day is beautiful. The off-piste is a must, given the vastness of the area and the almost total absence of obstacles. Unfortunately, the snow is not great, and little ice to the point as to prohibit the use of snow shoes ... at least initially.
At the end of the plain, we follow a strict initially endorsement for then deviate significantly within the forest. The climb really starts, and the snow begins to give way under our weight ... it's time to wear snowshoes.
stay for a while along the slope in the woods in off the track until the cross forest road that leads to the hut ... Marcao follow. Even a little effort (and some shortcut ) And here we are at a crossroads where stands the sign indicating the hut. Take a right and after a few tens of meters to abandon the road direct us along the side tracks recent snow ... make us guess that is the right direction. That's the side you open and above us stand out of the buildings hut Marcao di Sopra. We arrive and we take advantage for a short break refreshing, enjoying the beautiful scenery.
Take the road that goes in the direction the top. The day is so sunny that you perceive a typical spring temperatures, to the point of being able to snowshoe in short sleeves. Sometimes it is a must stop for admire the view behind us ... such a day makes you want even more to pursue the path toward the goal ... the glance from the top is fantastic.
then continue along the slope, cutting a bit long in the bush and then go definitely to the fork which is located east of the top Vezzena. We get there and already by this point you can begin to enjoy the beautiful view towards Valsugana. The desire to reach the top increases ... continue along the path beaten that winds up with a decision along the side of the mountain. There are many people, the beautiful day Sunday and drew a popular destination several hikers. But here you can see clearly top ... we ... we are to cross . A wonderfully beautiful! We are surrounded by mountain ranges and valleys (see photo below). Where do I start taking pictures? In all this beauty stand the ruins of the strong Cima Vezzena (Werk Spitz Verle). We are looking for a place to sit down and give us a break before a marvel.
Now you need to go.
We still have a small part of the effort to cross plateau which separates the car, but it's a small thing, just time to enjoy some more views and then returns home.

Conclusions:
out nice and short, ideal for those who want to familiarize yourself with the snowshoeing and the backcountry, otherwise they are safe. The climb is not prohibitive and can be further sweeten avoiding toll roads and steep slope that we followed ... we just keep along the original path.
In terms of scenic trip that is very rewarding especially when you reach the top Vezzena, from which you can admire a truly fantastic.
I think it is a pleasant excursion for lovers of ski mountaineering, which have the ability to get out of the beautiful trail along the slopes in the woods.
