Veget And Bulma Henti

Verso l'Altissimo

Eccomi quindi a raccontarvi di una gita, organizzata da un’amica, alla quale mi sono aggregato… we are a good group, 11 people who go out to conquer the summit of the Most High, who bear the snowshoes, some ski mountaineering.
Departure from Valentine , famous skiing resort which is part of the Plateau area of \u200b\u200bBrentwood. The temperature is well below zero, but the day was beautifully sunny and the snow is great.
We follow the road that goes up to Valentine's Day retreat Graziani, the snow has turned into a perfect track for winter hiking trail, the bottom ice, in fact, be faced makes il percorso anche senza l’ausilio delle ciaspole.
Decidiamo per una sosta ristoratrice in prossimità di una hut, so the opportunity could also rearrange the ideas. I put the conditional because the gay 'armata Brancaleone "(and of course I'll put myself in the deck) is devoted more to the libation at the thought that the route and so we are left with a full stomach and snowshoeing at the feet of the same question: where are we going?
Ok, I take the initiative and start to climb the slope in the backcountry ... new goal: Navene Bay. The group follows and we are on the main path, from here we take a new direction with the mind turned to a new question: what path to use for the return? Can we go back without a ring sui nostri passi?

Yes, around the end was nice, but lacked that "bite" that usually characterizes the outputs.
likely to be on the same day I was not (because the night the night before?), Or maybe it was the tour that at one point took a turn rather "messy".
Ok, no need to investigate the feelings ... the important thing is that at the end of the financial statements were positive: we have not reached the top of the Most High, but we walked traits in an area well covered in snow and always nice and the company ... was gay.

Ciaspolata sotto le stelle

I start to write after a period of enforced distance, to describe output in my opinion ... if we are very characteristic and romantic, as the release date coincided with the famous St. Valentine's Day :-)
It was not long excursions in night and I must say I was very anxious to taste the special magic that the night can inspire and trekking in the mountains. Deliberately not describe the places that I touched, much less the public a map of the place, because I am convinced that for some trips it's nice to think of emotions experienced in real life, coupled with a bit of imagination.

Arrival to town in a very clear and windy evening, with the thermometer that marks an "encouraging" -8 °. Along the way I met several groups of snowshoeing as they prepared to face the night armed with flashlights and clothing ... polar
:-) Before starting the study possible routes, looking for something that tickles my fancy in a particular manner "Hiking "The night has now taken possession of the whole district and the mountains look like giants crowned with thousands of stars.
decide to follow a route that will lead me into a valley and then up the market until you reach a step that could mark the destination of my trip. Proceed snowshoes on your feet, even though in some places the frozen snow is not recommended for use. In the distance you can see the glow of flashlights of hikers before me have decided to "confront" the night.
The moon does not have the terminus in the sky as they forward me the darkness in the valley takes over and makes it increasingly difficult to advance with a smooth trajectory. Intentionally not use is in front of the torch not to spoil the atmosphere and to maintain that the dark eyes trained forward. The part of the territory is not stop and I walk so I have to be careful not run into any unpleasant surprises.
mentally I flow as I go route up the pace ... I could hardly in a reasonable time to walk the entire tour. I decide then for a cut along the right side through the bush. The climb is not prohibitive, although Snowshoe in some places a little intrigue. Fall, almost inevitable, given that the very last stretch of vegetation, slope and snow-ice makes the trajectory almost impassable. No problem, a final effort and reach the plateau on the summit of Mt. Fantastic! In the background the lights of the valley stand out in an increasingly dark sky. The stars appear to be designed so stand clear in the sky! Impossible not to admire her beauty.
But unfortunately the cold wind does not look at anyone and after a while I am forced to continue the path. I take in a northerly direction along the broad ridge, the lack of vegetation seems to be animated by a strange presence that surrounds the mountain even more mysterious. The only tracks that sometimes I can see are those of the animals that inhabit these mountains ... the imagination runs
... I'm going to get behind a new section of the woods ... it's too dark to follow a certain path and then I had to resort to the use of the flashlight ... the conditional is necessary, as I see now no longer have the front ... was surprised, but I understand now that the previous fall had created an unfortunate consequence: the loss my source of light! I refrain from spoiling the atmosphere with colorful expressions, and after a quick reflection, I note that it would be a bit too crazy to continue to an area "unexplored" and dark without the aid of the flashlight. So ...
turnabout! I follow my tracks back and try to figure out what to do. Sketch a new itinerary that includes the search for the lost front, conscious, though, I should certainly reduce the goal.
Luck will help me find the flashlight ... and they date back to the plain and the rest thought to admire the night. Ok, decided: I go down the slope toward south trying to cross the trail more beat that leads to the east in order to reach some huts and extend well beyond the route without too much in life awaits me tomorrow ... another day ... hike! :-)
The descent is very steep but not too challenging. I reach the path beat beat ... too ... I take off my snowshoes just to hang him. Continue along the new route, although the setback of the front, cold and a bit of tiredness I am getting a bit discouraged from continuing.
begin to perceive the odor of smoke, a characteristic of wood smoke and a glow after a bit away from me confirming that they are now near the first hut. I get close up behind the block and I see clearly in people ... it's for celebrating Valentine's Day? ... ok, better not disturb!
retraced my steps and take the same path ... the dark night is growing cold and the lights of the plains to accompany me to my next destination: the car. This is also done.

Final comments? Well, I think each person mountain lover should try at least once the thrill of output at night. Summer or winter it is, the mountain at night takes on a new look, very distinctive and magical ... ... an aura of mystery surrounds it and makes it, in my opinion, even more fascinating. Obviously, precautions must be increased at night, but also increase the perceptions and emotions that are generated at the end ... even the "greatest effort" that comes to creating amply rewarded ... as the saying goes: " the game worth the candle ! :-)
